The key decision was to create an unadorned residential ensemble to house three independent bedrooms for the family’s three siblings, plus a shared daytime living space. Enclosed spaces alternate with open-air areas developed on their rooftops, served by external staircases. A continuous concrete strip serves as a pergola, its perforated triangular sections directing light to create the desired shading throughout the day. Finally, the white plaster and the mosaic of white tesserae and white cement, inside and out, contrast with the residence’s blue window and door frames.
