On a plot of 4 stremmata (about 1 acre) on the southeastern side of Paros, in an idyllic setting overlooking the sea, this summer residence was built for a family of four and their guests. The buildings are broken up and follow the contour lines of the terrain, while courtyards formed between the main house and the guesthouse serve as sheltered zones against the frequent strong winds. The sea to the east underlines the way the house’s spaces open toward it. Finally, the guesthouse, set into the natural relief of the plot, leaves the view from the main house unobstructed.
